No work for 2 days
it feels so good to be free from work
thought of just chilling at home today
then Rafie asked if i wanted to watch Ice Age 3
so we all went to catch it
we watched the 3D one, with the colour2 specs
and the ticket cost 13 bucks ok!
but it was ok.. the movie is quite nice
much better than the Monster Vs. Alien!

Tut 1 down! wah like big deal like that sey haha still got long way to go went to study with jt, zhong wei, min sheng and raymond now we've found a good place to study funny sia got someone ask us where is the canteen we all looked at each other, stunned cos all of us don't know! haha even though we've been to Smu for a few times already, we never go to the canteen after study, i was supposed to be meeting Wanting for dinner but she couldn't make it so we went to meet xinwei at Swensens for dinner then headed to orchard the guys were damn funny la laugh until the stomach pain haha today really shouldn't have brought laptop sia this the first time i put it inside my backpack thought it's ok but it's heavy sia! my shoulders damn pain la can!!!!!!! got 2 red patches on it!

Went to Smu with Su and Jing Ting to study IE
i'm only at lecture 3 1/2!
still got a long way to go ok haha
after study, met up with Bukhari, Shahid and JR for dinner
we then chill out at Starbucks
and the guys had a suprise celebration for me!
that was sweet and unexpected!
they got me a muffin and sang me a birthday song
followed by a gift

Yesterday met up with Wanting for dinner it's been donkey years since we last meet up and gave her the belated bday present which was due last April! that was how long we didnt meet up in fact it was much longer! haha we were walking around tamp int and bumped into Mas! this the 2nd time i bumped into her in tamp haha such a small world we sat down and do more catching up

It's been very tiring working 5 days in a row
well that was my first time
colleague got an MC and boss changed my schedule
the past 5 days was like hell
you see i've been having shoulder aches
and my chest pains is back
i dunno.. i just get so tired
today i woke up at 11am
and i could still sleep in the afternoon
i worked 2 mornings and 3 nights
the past 3 nights, i've been doing mistakes
and it just scares the shit out of me
one night, i thought my sales didnt tally
but turns out i counted wrongly
i lost a mastercard receipt,
and yesterday a passenger asked for a refund
she showed me a letter stating that Brisbane International Airport did not allow the cut flowers to go through
so i called boss and refund her another box
my mistake was that i just kept her receipt and not the letter
well, i didnt know
hope boss won't scold me for that
now that terminal 1 shop is closed for the time being,
there's more staff in my shop
one thing i hate bout working,
is that there's always politics
they complain here, complain there
this person talk bout the other person
and the other person talks bout this person
one of my colleague said this,
"I think boss is not happy with me. You see my schedule and yours. I'm not comparing ah but you see. I work very little."
well isn't she comparing?
but what can i do
it's not me planning the schedule

I watched this program on Travel and Living channel
this married couple, they have 8 kids!
that's like a lot to handle sey
and when the mum bring them out,
they will have this long string where the kids have to hold on to it
haha so cute
the mum did have a hard time taking care of the kids
at least one will sure cry
getting them to sleep was very hard
at home, the kids like to play inside this small playhouse
where there's small furnitures inside
they will play mothers and children among themselves
the boy acted as a dad, pretending to do laundry
and he put a doll inside the washing machine
their mum said, "You don't put babies inside a washing machine."

Despite being tired and sleepy,
i dragged myself out of bed this morning
and the weather was freaking hot
but that doesn't stop me from going to swim
haha
when i entered the pool, the water was very cold la!
like swimming in ice water
but shiok! haha
planned to do 20 laps
but it started to rain heavily :(
managed to finish 16 laps
i'm so going to swimming more often
need to lose the fats :)

Yesterday i had trouble understanding people
a man approached me and as usual,
they would usually ask for directions
but this guy, he just showed me his boarding pass
and pointed to the time of his flight
ok so it's 10.40pm.. so?
he didnt ask anything and expect me to understand what he's asking
think he dont speak English
after some time, i realize what he wants
and so i pointed him towards his boarding gate
i can read minds or what? haha
it was already 11 plus and 2 japanese passengers came
they wanted to buy fresh cut orchids
i told them they have to declare the cut flowers upon arrival
they gave me a blur look
maybe they don't understand the word, declare
"You have to inform the custom that you're bringing in cut flowers."

and then, they started talking to me in Japanese
"Sorry ma'am. I dont understand. "
it's like cats and dogs trying to communicate you know
suddenly, they're scared they cant bring in flowers
i told them they could bring in, just need to declare
they decided to give up on the declaring part
the first lady paid for her flowers
and gave me cash
i keyed in and passed her the change when she ask me to wait
and gave me a voucher
i had to cancel the transaction
it's been a some time since i last did one
i start to panic for once
while trying to figure it out, the lady showed me a magazine
with japanese wordings on it
i think it's some kind of guide of the goods that you could bring into the country
this time, i gave them the blur look
and they were like "Oh oh."
yes, oh oh.. i dun understand
the other lady also paid by voucher for her flowers
they made me so confused
that i keyed in the voucher's serial number wrongly into the system
and had to do another cancellation
after they were gone, i checked my sales with the computer system
i was so scared it didnt tally
but luckily it did
cos it's already 12am and i cant afford to have any mistakes
it would take me some time to correct it
i went to the money changer cos i have some US dollar
when i pass the money to the lady at the counter,
she looked at it carefully
i was like oh shit.. dun tell me it's counterfeit
when we accept foreign money from passengers,
especially US dollar, we have to check
luckily the money was real
that lady gave me a shock! haha
